Possible bad IMA or battery?

I have a 2007 hybrid civic and while driving one day the dash lights started flashing and acting weird, then the car stalled. I jump it and it starts but it will not run without the jumper cables connected. I would normally think it's a bad alternator but these don't have one, this is my first hybrid so what else could it possibly be?

Have you checked engine codes?
