Hey guys, i wanted to share with you the way i found out how to disable/enable autostop feature on the 8th gen civic. So when you turn of the climate controls and the screen goes black, twist the fan speed **** and it will come back to life, you should see the fan speed, temperature, the direction of airflow BUT the the part where it says aircon is of/on should be blank, that way i think the car thinks its always running aircon even tho it’s not turned on, after that if you press the aircon button the screen tells aircon is off and then you get autostop again. I was driving for a week and never had autostop feature working , after i pressed the aircon button showing me that it is off, it worked again perfectly fine. Hope this helps if someone is also dealing with this problem.
