RSX dash in EM2
RSX dash in EM2
Hey, so I know it’s possible to put the S2000 cluster in the rsx dash and that there is S2000cluster.com that sells stuff for it, and I wanna do that In my Em2, but with the rsx dash as well, thought id do it since the stuff is out there for the cluster swap and my plan is to k-swap anyways. That would be a pretty cool route to go.
I have a few ideas as there’s one video I found of a guy that did it in his Acura EL (Canadian Version, 2001-2005) and he said he cut around 1 inch on the front by the windshield. I’m from Canada so it’s legal to not have a dash VIN. The rsx also has the door trim go all the way down past the dash almost to the ground by the door hinges and the Em2 has the
dash go around and the trim stops about a foot further up then the rsx. Apparently you can use the rsx trim but I was just wondering if anyone has done this before or has an idea. I did check to see if there were any threads on this but I couldn’t find any. If there are some please let me know.

Re: RSX dash in EM2
Not to discourage you but why not just buy an RSX instead? You wouldn't have to K swap anymore plus you'd get the interior you wanted. You can find a decent RSX nowadays for $3k US.
Re: RSX dash in EM2
This is my first car for a while now, and it’s a Canadian special edition the Si Veloz, not a whole lot to it, but I want this to be a experience thing and I wanna try to go above beyond on a oem build. Everything I’m doing I’m trying to swap out with better oem honda/Acura parts.

Re: RSX dash in EM2
Haven't been here in years. Anyways I did this conversion, to get the rsx dash to fit you have to cut it where it meets the Windshield, same for the door panels you have to cut them as well,
As for the wiring for the climate control and the cluster you have to color match everything you will have some extra wires on both side just tape them up and put them to the side.
The Center Console fits without any modification.
forgot to mention when cutting the dash don't make big cuts, make small cuts and keep testing, if you cut to much it will look like crap, also you will have a space where the dash meets the cars body by the door.
And if you have the dash frame from the rsx it will make your life alot easier, I had the frame so I can't tell you how to modify the stock one.
