Mechanical dash to digital
Mechanical dash to digital
Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. My father in law just loaned me a 2001 Honda Civic EX coupe and I am trying to see what is possible for this car. I wanna try a make it a little more modern for him, in case he needs the card back. I have already gotten his permission to treat it as my own (I honestly think he just gave me the car). Is it possible to convert the mechanical dashboard to an all digital daashboard? Has anyone attempted this before?

aftermarket for 7th gen cars is... pitiful.
you will need to custom adapt things.
easiest way it to get one of the OBDII port readers from amazon and bluetooth connect to your cell phone and have a dash mount for the phone, to be honest. We usually use the torque app

if I recall correctly, swapping in S2K clusters was a small thing back in the day.
