I was hoping for some guidance with the following in particular;
Wiring grommets: The lightbar switch needs to go to the driver's side (RHS), but I'm struggling to find a suitable grommet in the firewall to run the cable through (the 2 main grommets I can see are pretty full and can't fit my cable). Has anyone got any tips for this on an 8th gen? Where did you route it?
High Beam piggyback wire location: The harness is designed to piggyback off a high beam bulb connector, but the included cable is pretty short. This means I can only realistically tap into the LHS headlight, which has limited space and awkward access because of the battery. I'm considering extending the wiring with solder/heat shrink so I can tap the RHS headlight instead where there's better clearance. Does this sound reasonable, or is there a better approach?
Extra accessory wire placement: The harness has two separate DT connectors (may want to add spotlights later). Any suggestions on where to mount these so they're accessible but out of the way? Is coiling it up and putting it up the back LHS reasonable - open to any suggestions.
Haven't done a lot of stuff like this etc. so appreciate any help
