Hi there, not really sure this is the place to post this but i just had a question as i am about to swap trunks with and 08 Si with the rear wing and i have an 07 Ex. So my question was that if i needed to strip the wires from my trunk do make the third brake light work for the spoiler , and of course unplug the current break light for the EX which is in the back where the speakers are. I’ve seen some DIY videos where they use a wire stripper but every video ive seen so far is them just adding the spoiler to their existing EX/LX trunks and drilling holes, but i have an original Si trunk lid so i was wondering if i was going to run into any issues regarding the third break light (also i am a complete noob when it comes to this stuff and has never done anything to my car like this)

you can either find the wiring for the rear window brake light and extend it to the lid or extend the brake light wiring from the rear light to the lid.
