We like to take our dog to the Finger Lakes. It is a 6 + hour ride. I like to add more room in the back seat. He is 90 pounds and 13 years old. I want to make the ride more comfortable for him.

Has anyone found a way to add sopmething to the back that extends the rear seat to make more room for bigger dogs.

There are a bunch of universal things on amazon that are like.. more rigid hammocks that attach to the seats (both front and rear seats)



Then here's another one from PetCo that just attaches to the front seats and is just an extra little ledge to cover the footspace of the rear seats.

I'm showing that one to be on sale for $79 (regular $82) Idk about you, but that sock photo they used, that dog looks grumpy as hell. lol

I have a hatchback, and when I folded down the rear seats to give my dog more room, he looked at me as if to say, "there's too much room back here.. what the hell."

Thanks. I had one of the Amazon rear seat beds. At least the one I got wasn't too firm. but maybe the back seat extender is different.

Kurgo Backseat Bridge, (despite the look on the dog’s face) seems ok. At least I can go to a Petco and see one.
