How do you position your drivers seat?

I had a hard time getting comfortable in the driver's seat of my Civic. I felt like it was a straight up board against my back and I would get tired driving fairly quickly. Finally, I tried tilting it back at a fairly steep angle so that the lower part of the seat would support the lower back, but the upper part of the seat was tilted away from the shoulders and upper back. It's weird but it is actually working as far as ergonmics are concerned. I'm not sure that I like it though, I miss the old American cars where you would just sink into the seats. Any comments?

i position it so the lower back is only supported, it allows for more aggressive, and alert driving.

I like it that way too.

I guess I have the seat back about 25 degrees or so. It's steeper than normal, that's all I know, but it is doing the trick.

i'm 5'10" or 5'11"...not sure...i just don't like being crouched, i like to be relaxed, plus perfect arms length to rest my arm and hand on the armrest and gear shifter repectively...

Yep many people mention on the Honda ng that sitting with the seat back tilted a little more, it's more comfortable. I do that too. Seat all the way back, and tilted a little also.

I pimp that sh't and throw it hella far back... it's comfy that way if you're driving a 5-speed driving with one arm on the wheel, and with one on the shifter.

When I first got my vic, I felt like a bubble was poking in my lower back! I have my seat all the way back in my sedan and still can't come close to completely stretching out my legs! It sucks! So, my seat is reclined quite a bit.
