AC not working - not a gas problem
Hi all,
The AC in my 2013 Honda Civic stopped working. I thought it just needed a re-gas but this morning a mechanic told me there is gas inside and it must be something else.
When I turn the AC on, I hear a click and if I touch the gas pipes, the "Hi" pipe gets cooler - but not cold. When I stop the AC, the "Hi" pipe gets warm. I think I can feel the gas flowing inside when I touch it with my hand.
Can a compressor fail like that?? The mechanic thinks it might be an electrical problem but something definitely happens when I turn the AC on.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
