Greetings. I replaced the compressor about 6 to 8 months ago. It started short cycling really bad then winter came and I didn't run it. I recently replaced the condenser, dryer, evaporator core, and expansion valve. I pulled a vacuum for hr fifteen minutes then it held a vacuum for an hr fifteen minutes. I added freon (acpro)
using there chart. Said I should have around 35 to 40 psi. Well once it got to around 30 it wouldn't take anymore which was very strange to me. I did add pag oil btw. At this point it wasn't short cycling and the vents were about 48f on the passenger and about 58 on the driver 🤔 I checked all three actuators and they are working. I went for a drive to discover what appeared to be a whining coming from the compressor. It's loud enough to raise concern so I shut it off and the noise immediately stopped. Even tho the compressor is pretty I'm thinking it's faulty. It was less then $200. I ran diagnostic on ac control panel and it passed. After everything that was done it should be ice cold. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thx

::EDIT:: this morning it is freezing as yesterday mid 80s wasnt. More cool then anything.

Crappy cheap compressor would be my guess
