AC and Both fans won't turn on
AC and Both fans won't turn on
So the other day the AC stopped working and started to blow in super hot air, as if the heater was on full blast, fast forward a couple days and the air is no longer hot but it feels like the fan is just turned on without the AC. So after googling the problem I checked to see if the AC condenser was engaging, and found out its not. But while checking that I discovered both fans on the radiator do not turn on at all, even after a 15min drive in 35 degree Celsius weather! Engine temp gauge inside shows the engine temp sitting at just under half way... Can someone help me trouble shoot this please?

Re: AC and Both fans won't turn on
I'm not familiar with that generation, but you'll need to test the related items in the circuit/circuits.
you can go to any parts store and find a Haynes manual which will show the circuit.
then you'll need to test the items.
-relays
-fuses
-fans
-compressor
-wiring
Hopefully you will find the issue before needing to test/replace the compressor or wiring.
relays can be tested by swapping the questionable relat with a known good relay. For my generation you could interchange the horn relay with the gen relay for testing. You can also find the high voltage end of the relay and tap it directly to the battery to see if it clicks.
fans you can jump directly to the battery to see if they spin.
fuses are best checked with a test light (they're like $15, at most parts stores)
Good luck
