2011 Honda Civic A/C Compressor

2011 Honda Civic A/C Compressor
My A/C compressor clutch froze and messed up my serpentine belt. A/C Compressor wasn't working any how, so I just want to bypass it. I know there isnt a A/C bypass pulley for the 2011 but there is a bypass pulley for the 2012 civic. Has anyone tried using the 2012 A/C bypass pulley on a 2011 civic??? Or has anyone bypassed the A/C compressor with a shorter serpentine belt???
