2004 Civic - changing the fuel filter

Looking in the manual and it says nothing about changing the fuel filter. Online I have seen conflicting info. Is it a "'lifetime filter" that only has to be changed when it doesn't work anymore or should it be on a regular maintenance schedule? Any ideas out there? Thanks.

Re: 2004 Civic - changing the fuel filter

You’d only need to replace it if there’s a fuel pressure issue. My civic has 200k miles on a (presumably) stock fuel pump and filter so I’d believe that it’s lifetime
