Some fuel filter advice to pass along!!!
I was curious from reading a previous thread about the fuel filters and when to replace them on our cars, so I did some research. I called Hond-Amotive where we get all our Hondas worked on in ft. worth. (they are ex-dealer master techs who started their own place) They told me that honda like to make civics look almost "maintenance free" so they claim the fuel filter is a "lifetime" filter. Which it really isn't. So it'd be like 40bucks to replace it, reccomended at about 30k miles. I'm also changing my auto fluid and cabin air filter......just to be current and keep the slushbox shifting nicely.
the fuel filter for uor cars is a life time filter te filter is part of the fuel pump assembly in the tank so you would have to disassemble the fuel pump assembly to replace the filter
I know because I already replaced a few
