2013 what to do about headlights
2013 what to do about headlights
Greetings everybody, this is my first post to this forum. I have a 2013 Honda Civic sedan. I've had it for about 6 years. I remember when I first got it how impressed I was with the headlights at night. Now, it feels like they're barely even on. I have recently replaced the headlight assemblies with ones I purchased from 1A Auto. No real improvement. They weren't expensive either though. New factory replacements from Honda are over $500 each. At least where I could find them. What is the collective wisdom about how to really make a significant difference in headlight performance? Is there a good better and best solution based on budget? Thank you everybody for your time.

I'd probably look at restoring the lenses on the factory headlights before replacing them with cheap aftermarket options. You can buy a half decent restoration kit for less than $50 from any auto parts store. If you have a drill, that'll make things even easier. Lots of YouTube videos documenting the process.

Thank you for this response, however it's too late for that great suggestion. The headlights head already been swapped out a few years back for aftermarket units. What would be the second best solution? Perhaps I can look into installing some aftermarket driving lights.
