Check EPS system
Hello,
We've had this issue on our 2013 Civic EX and it's been intermittent. I brought the car to a trusted shop and in the work order the mechanic scanned and cleared codes 71-01 and 71-02. It has been fine during the weekend but the issue has recurred this morning while turning leading the car to the wrong lane (opposing lane) due to the loss of power steering while the wife was driving. I will bring the car to the dealership tomorrow afternoon.
I've read some posts online mostly regarding the EPS module but I am yet to encounter one related to the above mentioned codes.
