Need help finding information on B20 swap for '97 coupe.
Good afternoon, thank you all for the add to the forum. I bought a 1997 Civic coupe with a 5-speed last week that was already prepped for dirt track racing. All I was told about the power plant is that the engine was swapped to a B20 out of a '98 CR-V. When I checked the block it's marked B20B4 so that seems to check out. I ran the vin on the transmission and it comes back to a '97 Intergra LS. The axles in the car are shot and the slave cylinder is pretty badly rusted, I'm guessing I'll have to grab these from said Integra? The motor mounts are also pretty badly mutilated, so I was wanting to pick up a dedicated swap set. Would these work?

There's a window right through the block so I got the engine in a box pretty much, so I'm having to learn as I go. I'm no stranger to working with Hondas, but I've never worked with any car with a swapped engine so I'm a little lost to be quite honest. I will defiantly be back with more questions. Any advice you all might have would be greatly appreciated.
One more thing as well, I'm not sure if this is the right forum or not for this but is there a section in this forum for dirt track racing? I'm new to it and was wondering if I can find any advice for that too.

Re: Need help finding information on B20 swap for '97 coupe.
Also one more thing before I retire for the night, in the next two days I'm going to a junkyard that has a 2001 CR-V with a B20Z motor in it. From what I've read online the only real difference is a knock sensor for the higher compression. However when you look at wiring diagrams for both motors, they both have that knock sensor located right above the oil filter. My question is, would I be able to throw in a engine from a '99 to '01 CR-V and get away with using the '98 ecu? I already have to go get it tuned anyways, just want to check before I go through the trouble.
One last thing, I looked at the ECU and it's a P75 out of a '95 Integra. The guy does have a video of the car running with this ecu on the B20 so I guess they do work together. I just don't think it'd work with the newer B20 due to that crank sensor but idk.
