Angry 2000hx trying to put in a d15b
ok i got a 2000 civic hx had a d16y5 i put in a d15b having issues with starting ...running rich white smoke smells like gas can anyone give me some info on what to do...chance ecu? or ? i put my intake on it anything else

Sorry bout the late reply,ok what I've done so far....the stock or I should say, I haven't changed the ECU although I did bypass the knock sensor....I put my intake on the d15b,with the same engine harness.... basically the long block is all I put in my car hard to start if normal operating temp reached its even harder to start and running rich

You need the accompanying engine harness and ECU. That’s probably why it’s not running great.

why did you put a D15B? it's for older cars than your 6th gen car...
is it just D15B or there are further codes? VTEC or not VTEC?
