I have changed plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, alternator. what else should i try.?? i just bought this car a month ago drives great when after 2000 rpm and quick too. but please any info will help.

If it is misfiring and the ECU is adding throttle or timing to compensate then you are probably throwing codes. Get your ECU read first, that should point you towards the problem.

^ Kinda. Try to trace the wires from the ECU itself. It's gotta be there somewhere. Unless it was removed for some reason. When it got swapped it someone could have just been too lazy to run the wires to under the dash. I guess they could be missing completely but you would be able to tell by looking at the ECU.

They would be the wires that lead to no where or to the plug for the reader.

Re: 2000 civic sir swapped B16A help

First off why did you swap out the b16a2 for the b16a. That is really not that much off a upgrade. Should of at least went with a b18 or k20.
