I just bought a 90 civic DX hatchback, body isn't great but the 3ngine is half apart So while I have to swap the engine regardless, I was just curious what an easier bigger swap would be, brand new to the custom swaps, definately have done a ton of stock engine swaps, but nothing custom, it currently has half the original 1.5L I know there's tons that are possible, but not looking to put a huge amount of time and money into it, right now anyways, thanks in advance

Well if you don’t want to put huge amounts of time or money into it I’d just put a D15 back in. Maybe get a lower mileage complete one.

I did think of that firstly but with it being a second car and not really needing it any time soon, are there any somewhat simple swaps, like something that doesn't require fuller new harness and computer and new engine mounts and all that? That's all I meant by money wise, just don't wanna spend 10k on a car that looks like 300$ u know, but I'm definately thinking of just keeping it original and nothing too special, although I had a guy ask me yesterday if it was for sale haha, thanks again appreciate it
