AC issues/hvac codes
I just purchased an 05 civic. It has been sitting for about 2 yrs on and off. 140,000 miles. Runs good no real major issues except the ac. Compressor runs , clutch turns , as far as the refrigerant I’m confused about but I changed filters. The cabin filters were awful. The fan **** seemed broke fan runs first setting but doesn’t run high on highest setting, very little air coming out of vents. Did the dignostic test and defrost button stayed on !ac light never came on and the blinking light on recirculator was 10….I seriously need help. I’m pretty handy fixing things and I’m low on funds .can u help?
Re: AC issues/hvac codes
Fault 10 is open or short in the mode control motor circuit. There is troubleshooting in the service manual.
