Foam cleaner on heater core? Evap drain location?

Hello,

I've been chasing down debris and stench from a rodent infestation in my '05 Civic Hybrid. After removing the cowling at the base of the windshield, pulling the entire dash, and cutting a fist-sized hole into one of the ducts in order to clear as much debris as possible, using shop-vac to suck and blow, and a long dryer vent brush, I still have quite a strong ammonia smell only when I run the heater (with A/C compressor on or off).

I've sprayed an entire bottle of Nature's Miracle and left it soaking in the ducts + carpet for over 12 hours (it's a product that is meant to break down enzymes from organic matter such as pet messes). Since doing so, as long as the temp control **** isn't set to anything in the warm/hot range, the air coming through the vents smells fine.

Now I've purchased a Frigi-Clean aerosol kit, but I have a couple questions before I throw this $50 product at the problem:

1) If I turn the temp control to Hot before spraying in the foam, does anyone know if this is safe (heat + foam product) and/or if it would be effective for the described issue?

2) Where, actually, is the evaporator drain?

I've invested 6 hours of online research over the past 3 days and am completely baffled at the lack of information out there.
Due diligence references:
On question 1) Every mention of this foam cleaning procedure only mentions turning on the A/C cold and letting the foam work through the system. BG Products site itself mentions hot and cold air blowing past the evaporator, but doesn't state whether or not it's safe to use while cycling hot air through the system.

On question 2) Nearly every result for this through search engines leads to the issue of water draining into the passenger footwell, which is not the problem I have. Or else it's for a different model of Honda, or a Civic from a different year.
The closest I've gotten to discovering the location of the drain hose is a photo from another forum that a few people claimed was "extremely helpful" but all I see is a jumble of pipes and wires and have no idea what area of the car the photo was taken in, let alone where in the photo the drain is that other people see - I can't even tell if it's looking into the engine or up from below the vehicle.
I've seen references to the drain hose being "just on the other side of the firewall" .. okay .. "on the passenger side" .. okay .. "closer to the center of the engine than I expected" .. okay .. and "drains out into the wheel well on the passenger side" .... so is it tied in to the 'gutter' that moves water from windshield run-off, behind the hard plastic trim that runs parallel to the front passenger tire? I've definitely located and cleaned out that drain path already.
I looked at a blowout diagram on a Honda parts site, but after entering my specific model it still stated "image may not match your specific vehicle".
As for spotting the run-off, I live in a dry climate, and after running the A/C on high for 45 minutes, and the next day driving the car around with the A/C blasting for 2 hours, I've left the car parked, still running the A/C, for over 20 minutes, and not seen one single drop of any liquid emerge from anywhere. So either it's too dry here, or the drain is clogged. If it's clogged, I'd like to unclog it before using this foam cleaner and spray some of the product up into the drain hose, as I've seen suggested elsewhere.

Thank you.

Thanks. That's one of the many vids I found dealing with the water in the passenger footwell. Also checked if the drain was in the location shown in his video and didn't find it there on my car.
