Need help so recently I have developed a problem where the car will crank but will not start I have replaced cam and crank sensor but still will not start I have checked all fuses and relays and they are good and I am getting fuel to engine but no spark was driving fine parked it at work at 3:30 pm came back to it at 11:30 and all it would do is crank also my scanner will not contact to ecu and when it did I had check engine light on for iac tried to clear light and it wouldn’t clear
Alternator bolts where tight the hole time it is not getting spark at any of the coils was driving fine parked it came back to car 6 hours later and all it does is crank
also key light come on for a second then turns off not flashing at all turns on then off so it is reading the key with no issue
Check the grounds on the engine. If you can't connect with a scanner it points to a grounding issue (most common). There should be three: one from the radiator support to the water passage on the passenger side of the head, another for the engine harness grounding to the water passage (in a different spot), then a third from the battery negative terminal to the transmission mount I believe.

Fuse 20 in the under-hood box? G101? Do you have a multi-meter? Verify those fuse actually have battery voltage when the key is on. Verify G101 has continuity to the negative terminal on the battery. How are you testing for spark? Did you check the alternator bolts on the bottom (alternator to bracket and bracket to block, both need to be clean and tight). The fact that you can't get a scanner to connect still points towards a bad ground. Do you hear the fuel pump priming when you first turn the key on? Should run for 2 seconds.
fuel pump primes all the grounds where clean alternator bolts are all clean and tight everything thing else needed is good just no spark and I don’t think all four coils can go bad at the same time

I agree. If I were you I would be getting a meter and confirming battery voltage is making it to the coil packs. The black/white wire should have battery voltage with key on, the black wire should have ground, and the remaining wire is the ignition signal from the ECU. It's possible the fuse is good but there's a chewed up wire somewhere else.
i have checked all the wires all the way back to the ecu they are all good and as far as the black and white wire at coil pack they all read 12v

So I have run it to this problem where I was driving my car to work on Sunday at around 3:30 pm got to work shut my civic off work until 11:30 pm went to try and start it and all it does is crank so pulled it in the garage at work check all the grounds and cleaned all of them check both fuse boxes no blown fuses or relays check and replaced crank sensor and cam sensor I am getting fuel and compression on all cylinders and injectors but I am not getting any spark at any of the four coil pack or spark plugs and I have been without my car now for almost 2 months what can be the problem also timing belt is good and have not jumped timing or broken belt motor only has 50k miles on it what is the problem please help I have two lil kids and this is the only car I have I hope someone has had this same problem and can tell me what is wrong so I can fix it also it is not the immobilizer cause key light is not flashing while cranking turns on when you first turn key and shuts off after a second or two like it is supposed to
Re: 04 civic ex with 1.7l vtec and standard trans cranks but will not start
So little update on the car there is a broken wire somewhere in the engine harness so I am waiting for it to be found by the dealership and have it repaired or replaced but I just wanted to let everyone one know I should have the car back up and ruining again by sometime next week

If not, have you checked alternator bolts? ground wires? If they loose it could be fried ecu
the car picture does not tell anything about your problem...
