2001 honda civic lx coupe hard start when cold

Hello, I’m having an issue with my 2001 civic, when I first go out and crank the car it will turn over fine, then it sounds like its chugging while cranking. The funny part is it only does this when the temperature drops below 50 degrees. I have to crank and push the pedal all the way down and it will start after about a minute of doing this. Then after it starts I can drive all day no problems and it starts right up. Any help I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hey thanks for your reply, I was thinking that and just bought one last week. Still doing the same thing.
