I am working on granddaughters car, it is her second vehicle so time is not critical. What I have found so far after buying new battery. Key immobilizer is broken, no key light on dash or shift indication. No power to fuel pump. No crank with key. No spark when jumping starter with key in on position. Shifter stays stuck in park and need to press release to move into neutral. I bought a new ignition at junk yard and it has all parts with new keys and plan to install it later this week. Tired to jumper the fuel pump relay but still no power at pump. Ran wires from battery to pump and fuel pump runs but does not reach fuel rail as Schroeder valve is dry. Just looking for ideas to try next. Also took out the range sensor and it appears to be in correct position.

So you have not installed the new ignition cylinder yet? Did you also get the immobilizer unit with it?

Yes I hope to install it tomorrow. It has the keys and immobilizer with the unit, just having problems tracking down new bolts for the new ignition collar.

Update, installed with new key still everything the same, brake lights do come on when break is pressed most assessories work. I do hear a click from a relay.
