Clutch disengages too deep
Clutch disengages too deep
Hello Everyone,
Car is a '97 Civic LX with 5spm, about 135kmiles.
Car was parked outdoors for about three years, now putting it back on the road.
While the car started up more or less with minor issues, the clutch disengages way too deep, barely opening the connection.
That is with the clutch master cylinder push-rod adjusted to the max extension at the pedal.
I do not recall that the car had any clutch issues before parked.
Does it sound like some issue with either the master or slave cylinders, or possibly a worn out clutch disk?
Any comments on the above, suggestions welcome.
Thanks, Peter
