Fuel Filter Replacement
I have a new fuel filter to replace a honda 97 civic . The new filter did not come with replacement washers for the banjo bolt. It seems they are 12mm diameter in size. Do i need to use Copper Crush Washers ? Can i use a standard M12 washer ? The copper crush ones are hard to find locally. I phoned around. They are available online.

Copper washers are designed to crush and form to the mating surfaces. This provides a good seal. A standard iron/steel washer will not do this.

Return the filter and get one with the washers
