Hi! I’m new to working on cars so I will describe this as best as possible. Civic 96 EX, 193k miles. Recently power washed my engine bay (looking back not a smart move). Upon leaving it inside to dry the next day a new noise appeared within the engine. Very high pitched, can’t tell what it’s coming from exactly but it increases with rpm. It settles down after the engine idles for a minute or so, but bringing the engine past 2000 rpm will bring it back and it will get higher the louder it goes. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!
