Losing coolant

Not sure what this is or why coolant is coming out of it. Car keeps overheating and losing coolant as soon as it reached temp. It looks like it's coming from a filtech box attached to the passenger side wall. Please help at a loss!

Re: Losing coolant

Just did but why is it leaking all my fluid from there? So isn't the res tank by the radiator. I don't see a hose leading from that to underneath the car?

Re: Losing coolant

That looks like the A/C drain tube, condensation dripping out is normal. Sure that's where coolant is coming from?

Re: Losing coolant

Would a leaking heater core end up draining from there? I honestly don't know.

Re: Losing coolant

I'm not that mechanically inclined so it's giving me some trouble. Everytime I put coolant in it end up coming out that hose.

it seemed to happen when I turned the heat on? I ran it for about ten minutes let it cycle twice at least and nothing until I turned it on. Gonna fill up coolant again and try without turning heat on at all.

Re: Losing coolant

Still coming out of that hose, no heat, and overheating. Fan comes on and hoses to and from radiator have heat and at times some pressure.

Re: Losing coolant

If you can't figure this out take it to a shop before you ruin your engine

Re: Losing coolant

I would think it's a leaking heater core.
