d16y5 block with d16y8 head and y8 manifold need help!?!?!
this is my 1997 honda civic hatch back CX. d16y5 block with the d16y8 head and intake manifold is what i was told. i have multiple check engine lights. its just a rough ride in general. i know this is a long post but please bare with me if you have any knowledgeable information or diagrams. if you need more pictures of info just ask please.
i have multiple check engine lights i noticed my ecu has wires cut off and some that are connected such as the yellow one. This is the ecu from an hx. “37820-P2N-A21” not sure if i could be running an ecu from an ex. NOTE this car comes with a d16y7 non-vtec from factory. i’m not sure if that is why i don’t have a plug for my vtec solenoid
shot from the underside of the ecu. If you guys could link a diagram of this ecu that would be perfect.
i think that i have a vacuum leak and the vacuum lines are not hooked up properly if you could post a diagram of the intake manifold and how it is suppose to hook up properly with a d16y5 bottom end.
more vacuum lines that i don’t know why they are the way they are .
ecu solenoid not connected and i do not have a spot to connect it to.
underside of the intake manifold not sure if that is broken but if it is could somebody let me know what it is.
