DPFi to MPFi swap idle problems
DPFi to MPFi swap idle problems
Hi guys, so im gonna expose my problem.
I have a d15b2 dpfi engine, 90hp and i bought a d15b vtec intake manifold that came complete with p08 ecu injectors throttle body etc...

So i wired the ecu, every wire except for the o2 sensor that i still dont have
the four wire one, and the vtec wires (no vtec head)
Then i got myself a dizzy, My old dizzy plug didnt have crank sensor wires (white and orange) so i took them from the ecu
Plug from the new dizzy

The wires that didnt have correspondence, but i wired them to the ecu.

Them o got a tps cuz my manifold didnt have one.
I switched the green and yellow wires in the tps, am i right?

I had bits of gasket in the head so i cleaned it as most as...my patience allowed me :P

But i left some bits there, and when i tightened it up as mutch as i can, i filled it with water and it was leaking :\
And now after all my idle is at 4000~4500rpm.... do you think that its from a leak in the intake manifold?
One of the nuts isnt tightened up, the bottom one cuz i just CANT tighten it up, i cant reach it, if i do reach it with the wrench it hits the manifold and i cant turn it... wich maybe is giving me a even bigger gap...
Any ideas?
Cheers
PS: If i disconnect the IACV plug my idle goes to 2000, but if i accelerate it blops, like stalls lol like is too much air going in and no fuel or something...with iacv connected its at 4500 but if i press the gas it accelerates even more, doesnt stall
