Engine rattle during acceleration

Hey all, good morning!

I will admit immediately I haven't researched the issue too much just yet, however after correcting the failed head gasket on the honda I've noticed recently it's developed a solid rattle/grinding sound especially during acceleration after the car has heated up during the day.
I've noticed the rattle will be consistent on the drivers side of the engine bay even at idle when the ac is cranked up. So I'm wondering will bad pulleys cause this noise? I'm thinking the tensioner pulley or maybe the compressor pulley itself has started to wear out or is loose for some odd reason and causing this rattling sound when it warms up or when the ac is in use. Any feedback or info elsewhere would be amazing! Thanks guys

i'll do my best to get them off, will likely have to be once the car is fully warmed up and hot, that's when the rattling is at its worst
would a bad pulley or tensioner cause a rattling/grinding?

Re: Engine rattle during acceleration

It might, that's why you need to pull the belts to see if the noise is still there
