Overheating issue solved by AlloyWorks slim fan and shroud

Hey Everyone,

I just purchased a stock '99 Honda Civic EX in hopes that I would turn it into something special. However, I noticed that there were a few things that needed immediate attention before I start modding the vehicle. My temperature gauge was slowly rising with the A/C on in traffic. Turned it off and the temp gauge went back to normal. After carefully inspecting the vehicle, I noticed that the OEM radiator fan was not pulling enough air to efficiently cool the vehicle down. Instead of purchasing another OEM fan, I decided to look into the aftermarket. With so many great choices out there, I ultimately went with AlloyWorks' radiator slim fan and shroud. Their budget friendly pricing, excellent fitment, quality, performance, and their customer service were the deciding factors in choosing their product over others. Installation was pretty straight forward. The toughest part was cutting and splicing the old connector and mating it with the new fan as it did not come with one. It would've been great to have a true plug and play, but this was not a big deal. After installing the fan and test driving the vehicle with the A/C on, the temperature gauge was consistently reading normal. So far, i'm impressed with the quality and performance of the fan. Not only that it flows more air, it's also pretty quiet! I will be pairing this with their aluminum radiator when the time comes for maximum cooling.

Here are some of the features of the fan:

Maximum Fan CFM: 1730 cfm
Fan Diameter (in): 12.050"
Thickness (in): 2.500"
Number of Blades: 10 blades
Maximum Fan RPM: 2,250 rpm
Blade Material: Plastic
Amp Draw: 12.70 amps

If you're looking for a quality product at great prices look into AlloyWorks!
