97 Civic coupe EX project
Howdy!
Just bought a 97 civic EX coupe and have been doing some work on it, though there are some things i'm not sure on how to build it up. I have ideas though i need some tips or maybe some good ideas on what to do to make this car fast and or good looking again. so my questions are...
1) anybody have any reviews on MAACO paint jobs? worth it?
2) any ideas or cool things to set this car apart?
3) I want to boost this car at some point. any good kits or tips for that?
4) how would i go about changing the flooring and some interior issues of the car (I.E the drivers side door paneling, window regulator, and speakers?)
5) any good colors that might look better than the idea of machine gun grey?
Anyways, probably will get some answers eventually, but i love my little civic and never thought id ever own a ricer lol but it has 5-speed with the cluth and flywheel upgrade, skunk2 racing exaust, and a rebuilt b16 i believe and runs pretty decent for its condition. Thanks!

Re: 97 Civic coupe EX project
Welcome.
1.) Paint job is you get what you pay for. I have seen MAACO jobs and they look like what they cost. The price is all labor and the more time spent the better it looks.
2.) Do what you like. Performance, stance, VIP. You can easily set it apart from the scene trends by not following them.
3.) What is your budget and goals? Engine managment is one of the most important things.
4.) Change the sheet metal? If you are just talking the door panels (not sheet metal) that is a pretty easy DIY. Smae for speakers and regulator.
5.) I am partial to the Electron Blue Pearl, Championship White and Milano Red. The sky is the limit with paint colors though.
