Hello Everyone, I'm new here. I would like to ask if anyone knows there the Fail Safe Relay is on a 1998 Civic EX Coupe?
I googled, reddited, Honda Forums, searching everywhere and have not found one simple direct answer. Car drives fine for a mile then shuts off. Codes are: 54-01 Fail Safe Relay Failure
and: 61-01 Battery Voltage Failure
In response to the car shutting off: replaced with new alternator, new battery, new fuel pump, new coil, cleaned terminals and tightened battery clamps. Still shutting off. Cannot find this "Fail Safe Relay" anywhere. Is it labeled as something else at autozone or online? Very strange that this common error is not easily solved.
