Window problem for 2000 Honda civic sadan

Window problem
I brought this car..and the windows don't work..no power no sound nothing .. I took the driver door off.. disconnected the main window switch .. checked the wires put it back and still nothing...I then took it apart again .. I got a battery and some wires I then tried to hot wire it to the fuse bit that connects to the main window switch..to see if anything will happen ..and I managed to get the window going up n down..same thing on passenger side...so I no there's something going through some power ..I ended up buying another main switch..and still nothing..please help ..I don't wanna have to drive around with an extra battery and wires so I can wind windows up and down lol ..also only the driver and front passenger go down .. please help ..if there's any advice or ideaz out there thatll be much appreciated

You're going to have to inspect the wires for breaks if the fuses and switches test good.
