Driverside front running light stopped working.
Driverside front running light stopped working.
I'm kind of new to working on car electronics so bare with me. I drive a 2000 Honda Civic LX manual, it's been an amazing car so far. Both blinkers work fine, however the daytime driving light on the front driver side refuses to work. I replaced the bulb since I thought maybe the filament for the driving light was bad (they're the dual filament bulbs), but it still refused to work. I checked the fuses for every last thing on the car, and none of the fuses are burnt. What else could it be? A relay? Bad wiring? Please help lol. I gotta do my safety inspection for a new tag ASAP.
Re: Driverside front running light stopped working.
You'll need to verify that the fuses are actually powering the circuit. This can be verified with a multimeter.
It's possible the connections inside the fuse panel are cracked. You would need a soldering iron to repair that.

Thanks for the replies! I'll be checking these things in the morning, time to bust out the dusty multi-meter. Was hoping not to have to do all this, but I kinda knew I'd have to lol
