My rear light don’t turn on when lights are turned on they are only on when I hit the breaks, but apart from that only the headlights are on and not the rear ones.
I have checked the plugs and they are connected so not sure why they aren’t turning on.

It’s on a Honda Civic Cx 2000 hatch.

It could be your bulbs. It runs on a dual filament bulb so it could be that one filament burned out. Otherwise, check fuses/wires.

2nd, brake uses a different filament inside the bulb, so even if one goes, does not mean the other go.
