Horn wire

How would I take the stock horn wiring harness and split it so it hooks up to a horn with a negative and positive terminal? Or would I have to get one with just a single pin?

Re: Horn wire

2 pack of single to single adapters: https://www.collegehillshonda.com/20...rket/0S03.html

Single to dual horn adapter: https://www.collegehillshonda.com/20...ket/0S03A.html

Either one will work, even if you're only going from oem single to aftermarket single horn. Most people do a single to dual horn conversion to get rid of the wimpy "meep keep" sound, at least in my observation

Re: Horn wire

I did the same-ish for my 2018. 10th gens have a different connect, but collegehillshonda had an adapter for it.

Here's the DIY I did for the 10thgen. The procedure for any other gen will be just about the same

Re: Horn wire

I ended up buying the single to double adapter, but couldn't figure out how to get it working after connecting everything, Am I supposed to connect the "minus earth" to the car's body as a ground, or connect it to the negative battery terminal?

Re: Horn wire

I mean, technically either. I would just ground to chassis. You doing a single horn or dual horn setup? I can make a quick and dirty wiring diagram for you

I'm doing a dual horn setup, I just did a quick test by holding it to the car's frame to see if it came on, and it didn't seem to work

Was it bare metal? Electricity doesn't travel through paint
