Obd isnt reading

Obd isnt reading

So I took my 98 ek to emissions today and when he plugged in my OBD nothing came up the screen was black (his reader wasn’t Bluetooth) my acc/cigarette fuse is replaced and good anybody know what it could be?

Have you verified power/ground in the OBD connector? Pins 4/5 should have ground, pin 16 should have battery voltage.

Yeah I tested pins 4/5 with a light test for power and got nothing than took a digital multimeter to check for power on 16/4 and still got nothing. My OBD isn’t getting power at all

Check for any other blown fuses, follow the wires back to see if they're damaged

What? Of course you won't have power on pins 4 or 5, they are ground. Take one probe of your meter and go in pin 16, put the other in pin 4. That should give you battery voltage. If not, check fuse 43 (7.5 A) in the under-hood fuse box.
