which fuse for OBD port

I went to get my emissions test today and the tech said he couldn't get power on the OBD port. I got the same thing later with my scan tool. Which fuse is it on? If its on the same fuse as the ACC socket then the problem must be bigger, because the cell phone charger works. This is a 2006 LX.

Re: which fuse for OBD port

Fuse 23 (the one helpfully labeled "Backup") is fine, along with all the other little fuses under the hood. I looked at the ODB connector and what I can see (not much) looks OK. So I guess its to the dealer I go.

Dig out your voltmeter. This is the connector view as you stare into the open side (opposite the wires)

Pins 4 and 5 are grounds
Pin 16 is power from that fuse.
All the rest are for the computers and communication so don't mess with them

Re: which fuse for OBD port

Thanks for the advise, Ezone.

Just thought I would close thread this out. After contorting my senior citizen body under the dash my voltmeter showed 12.6 volts or something. Holiday travel postponed further investigation, and when I took the car to a different shop for a retry at the emissions test, everything was fine. So either it was a transitory problem with my ODB system, or a problem with the equipment at the first test station.
