1998 Civic ex 5 speed reverse lights stuck on even with the switch unplugged
I just bought the car and there was no bulbs in the reverse sockets so I put some in the stay light even if I take the sensor out and unplug it. It's a 98 Civic with a b16 engine and 1999 Acura integra ls transmission

Unfortunately that sounds like the reverse switch has gone bad. The switch is in different locations, depending on whether it is a manual or an automatic. On the manual it is located on the transmission itself. On an automatic it is in the console at the shift lever. It is not an expensive part, often carried at the parts store. I've attached a pic of what it should like on the manual.
