Hello everyone and thanks in advance for any help. My question: I purchased one of the new fancy shmancy timing lights (zurich digital timing light) as I just want to check to see if the timing on my 98 civic ex needs adjusting. It comes with a green dwell lead. Can I leave that unattached to anything or do I need to attach it. The instructions that came with with it are unclear as it states to attach it to the negative side of the ignition coil. I'm not checking the dwell and the negative side of the coil is in the dist.
