Its a long story but someone borrowed my 04 Civic and spilled gas that melted plastic in the trunk floor. I have been cleaning it out, scraping what I can but want to brush it clean with soap and water and not ruin a shopvac doing it. Does the trunk floor drain hole cap come out with tapping or prying off? It is metal and appears securely in there. Thanks for the help. Metal cap drain hole in Civic Part 13 as reference.
Not much info on that plug online although logic would dictate that it should pry up and out or pop out from accessing it from the bottom of the trunk.
