I am having an issue with the driver side window. It will go down, but when you activate the switch to move it up, it moves about 2 inches and stops. Activate the switch again it goes up and stops. Sometimes it will close the last 5-6 inches, other times you have to keep pulling the switch.

I followed a video on resetting the switch, but it didnt work.
A new switch is around $300, so I bought a used one thinking it was a switch problem.

Anyone else have a similar problem? Any suggestions? Thank you.

My first thoughts are the tracks need to be cleaned and greased. Also possible the window motor itself has developed a flat spot and is triggering current limit safety in the switch.

If you have aftermarket tint on the window all the way to the edge it makes it even harder.
