Weird sound coming from under hood on driver side

Would anyone know what this sound could be . Started happening for me about a week ago . I only hear when I’m parked after driving the car

You need to open the hood and get a closer listen.

Maybe even a stethescope or something to use to try to isolate the sound to one particular area.

Sounds like it's coming directly from the block. From inside the block. Not good.

Is the power steering pump on that side? Maybe a bad power steering pump.

I guess that looks like a Honda Civic? What year? And model, etc.

It’s a 2005 civic coupe EX . Yes the power steering pump is on that side . I’ll reply to this again with hood open tomorrow after I take it for a drive
