2005 D17 automatic shuddering, crazy dash lights, stalling.... No codes

My daughter has a 2005 Honda Civic LX automatic D17 engine.

New battery
Alternator tests fine
New timing belt
New catalytic converter
New oil and filter
New air filter
240,000 km

No codes, live odb2 data looks pretty normal...obviously not watching when it does this

I have never seen this happen while I have driven it before or after.

She is driving on her way to work, the car jerks, the dash lights go crazy, and then it stalls... It will start back up and is typically fine for a while after that. Nothing else out of ordinary.

Any thoughts or place to start?

Years ago, when my 2004 Civic was still pretty new (I think it was around 2007 or 2008), I had a similar thing happen. The dash lights would go crazy and the gauges would go to zero and the car would stall. Brought it to the Honda dealership and they put in a new battery. The problem happened again. Brought it back to the dealership and they did some more work (don't remember what) and assured me the problem was fixed. Happened a third time and had to have it towed back to the dealership. Finally, they concluded that the alternator was bad even though they ruled it out earlier. They put a new alternator in and everything was fine after that. Thankfully, they cut me a huge break on the repair since they misdiagnosed the problem the first two times. They also covered my tow!
