iPhone notifications received as bluetooth phone calls, even if usb plugged in.
It's a bit annoying.
My car is a Honda Civic, 2015.
This started about a week ago, and I've tried restoring my car's system to default settings, removing and re-adding the bluetooth connection to my iPhone.
So if I'm listening to the radio, and I get a notification on my iPhone, the car will think it's a phone call and mute whatever I'm listening to to play that notification.
I need notifications, since I deliver for Uber Eats, but I don't want the notifications to interrupt what I'm listening to.
This also happens when I'm listening to the ipod music app on my iphone through the usb port. It'll pause the music and go into that bluetooth phone call to play the notification chime then resume the music.
It's. So. Annoying.
Any help is appreciated.
