Hi guys,

I tried my best to find an answer for this, even called Honda Canada, but they were unable to provide me with a good reply.

I own a 2015 Civic EX sedan. I currently own an Iphone 6 and will get an Iphone 8 or X soon. I was wondering if there are any compatibility issues over cable (IPOD mode) or Bluetooth between the phone and the infotainment unit. Just want to make sure the following are functioning correctly :

- Contact Book shows correct entries and Picture when performing calls
- Song information is displayed when connected over Bluetooth
- Voice commands using SIRI are not laggy or problematic

Not all phones and OS are completely compatible with the tech in the various cars of various years.

Thanks for your reply! I did however went ahead and bought the Iphone 8 ( running IOS 11.2 ) and it all works fine with my Civic ( voice commands using Siri, song tags, etc )
This was a relief
