Bluetooth pairing problem

I need some help with bluetooth pairing. I have a 2012 civic ex. The first time I did it with my HTC Amaze android phone there were voice instructions. It said to make my phone discoverable and to select it in the car menu. Then when you click on it, to type in the pin shown on the car screen. This all worked.

But when I was troubleshooting how the phone autostarts music, I unpaired bluetooth from my phone. Now when I select the phone in the car menu, The car screen says connecting and the pin input screen shows up on my phone. But the car screen does not give me a pin to enter. I tried various numbers on the phone such as "0000" "1111" "1234" "4321" to no avail. Does anyone know how to completely reset the infotainment system on the car to factory defaults or how to solve this problem? Thank you.

Re: Bluetooth pairing problem

And it probably won't consistently work. You can disconnect the battery to reset the computer.

Re: Bluetooth pairing problem

Solved the problem. I couldn't figure out how to delete the old bluetooth profile. Turns out you have to press "no" when it asks if you want to make a connection.
